Lysander Sage: 'We all know Albert Tuccini, don't we? He came to give us a piano recital during spring semester. Don't you remember?'

Charles Bone: 'Of course. And the face at the window in my great-aunt's house, and the piano at the top, after the fire. It was Albert Tuccini all the time, not...not someone else.'

Albert Tuccini is a pianist who appears first in the second book. He was brought to Bloor's Academy to demonstrate piano-playing for the school. The music he played was familiar to Charlie Bone, a tune his father played before. In the end of the third book, after Venetia's house burned down, Albert's face was seen in the attic, and his piano fell down and crashed on the basement steps. So Eustacia Yewbeam took Albert to the Castle of Mirrors in the fourth book and left him there, sometimes coming to leave him food. The music he played, according to Gabriel Silk, was Prelude in C played by Sergei Rachmaninoff. When Charlie came to the Castle of Mirrors, he thought Albert was his father, but was later heartbroken and embarreased to find out that he wasn't. Later on, Albert left Paton Yewbeam, Billy Raven and Charlie in the café and wasn't seen again.
