Christopher Crowquill was Billy Raven's rightful guardian after his parents had died. He was a descendant of Amadis. Mr. Weedon came to his house one night and was going to try to murder him and Christopher had no choice of but to defend himself. The witnesses claimed Christopher was attacking Weedon, and he was sent to prison. Christopher was the one who sent Billy magic candles for his first birthday, by giving them to the aunt who he lived with. Christopher is descended from Owain's first son, a Crowquill. At the end of the fourth book, Christopher sacrifices himself to save Paton Yewbeam by knocking himself off a bridge trying to throw Yorath Yewbeam off when he attempted to kill Paton.
