The Drama Department is one of the three departments at Bloor's Academy.
The Drama Department was originally originated from when the academy became a school. There were three talents to be picked, of which were music, drama and art. The children belonging in the drama department were chosen if they were gifted in acting. Gradually, the form changed to having children who could mime, act, mimic and speak in a clear, loud voice. It is unknown who chose drama to be one of the three departments.
"It's disgusting. Why can't people be more conventional?"
The children in the Drama Department are usually very loud and dress unusual. Mrs Marlowe, the current head of drama, encourages the children to dress unusual, saying clothing and face paint mean "self expression". The drama children wear long skirts, fashioned clothing under their cape, face paint and dyed hair.
